Bingo House Rules (June 2024)
- No person under the age of 19 may participate in or win a prize in a bingo game.
- No smoking, drugs, vaping or alcohol.
- No physical or verbal abuse.
- Games: Unless announced prior to play, each bingo event will include:
- 3 Up
- 6 Up
- 9 Up
- Lucky 7
- Bonanza
- Odd & Even
- Dual
- Loonie
- Patterns: Bingo patterns for the regular games will be provided on the flip chart on the stage.
- Prices: Price lists for bingo paper will be provided on the order form. They may be found at the cashier's desk.
- Order forms: Must be filled out and presented to the cashier.
- Paper sales: Will start at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:55 p.m.
- Regular game prizes: Regular bingo game prize amounts are $40 per bingo. If there are multiple bingos, this prize money will be split accordingly, and rounded up to the nearest whole dollar amount.
- Percentage prizes: Prizes based on percentages will be calculated once final sales are in and written on the Bingo board.
- Seat saving: Seating may be "saved" until 11:30 a.m. After that, the player must be physically present to keep the seat.
- Blackout & Loonie Ball games: Information regarding the blackout games and Loonie Ball (Progressive) is available at the Cashier's desk.
- Complaints: Must be given to the Cashier, in writing.
- If the complaint cannot be resolved with the Cashier, it may then be referred to the attending Director.
- If the complaint cannot be resolved, it may then be referred to the Summerland Community Centre Association Board of Directors.
- Volunteers: Volunteers are not permitted to participate in any gaming activities during their shift.
- Odds: The odds of winning a game of bingo change according to the number of cards in play and the number of balls that have been drawn.
