DESCRIPTION:SHOW DATE MOVED DUE TO BAND MEMBERS BEING ILL – now Mar. 28 \nSummerland Community Centre Presents:  Walk the Grammy Hall of Fame with Rollin’ Coal! \nThe Summerland Community Centre is proud to welcome Rollin’ Coal\, an Okanagan favourite\, for a special performance on Friday\, March 20. This dynamic trio brings a retro vibe to the stage\, celebrating classic songs from the 1950s onward with fresh energy and unforgettable style.  They will be offering a program available only for ticketed events\, like ours\, called “Walk the Grammy Hall of Fame with Rollin’ Coal Trio”.  This performance will be strictly songs that are in the Grammy Hall of Fame. \nMeet the Band: \n\nArt Jacob – A master of both electric and upright bass\, Art honed his craft in the Maritimes before becoming a well-known figure in the Okanagan music scene.\nColin Moorman – A versatile guitarist and saxophonist who has toured extensively across Western B.C. Colin also shares his talents as a music instructor in Kelowna\, teaching guitar\, bass\, and saxophone.\nSusan Ruuska – Discovered by a Kelowna musician\, Susan’s remarkable vocal range earned her the distinction of being “a unicorn” from her instructor. Her voice adds a unique sparkle to the group’s sound.\n\nTogether\, Rollin’ Coal delivers performances that blend nostalgia with innovation.  They reimagine old favourites while keeping audiences cheering for more.
